What students are saying about Women’s Business Leadership:
“Class helped me to become brave, more open, and learn that things (like my own business) could be real. My favorite part of the class was all the practical exercises. It was perfect the way you learn more about your own personality. It really helped to understand and describe my own expectations. Awesome. And, of course, the Hot Mommas case was perfect. I was my first time writing this kind of life story. Thanks!”
Ieva, Latvia
“I’m glad that I have the opportunity to study in this class. It was so great. I’m more confident and I love that this class gave me the idea to create my own opportunities, and teaches me not just to sit and wait for the opportunities. My favorite part of class was the speakers. I like to listen, learn, and know about their successful lives.”
Nan, Thailand
“I got more confident, I started to believe in myself, my vocabulary expanded. I realized that I definitely want to open up a business. You can make your ideas a reality and it’s you who is leading in the way you would like. My favorite part was definitely the presentation because I could be creative with the PowerPoint and visualize my business ideas. In addition, I enjoyed doing the market research survey.”
Larysa, Germany
“This class has made me more comfortable and made me believe that things are possible. Opening up your own business is not crazy
My favorite part of the class was meeting new girls, snacks at the classes, and being able to give my presentation in front of everyone. I am proud.”
Leandra, South Africa
“Personally – I feel a lot more confident to make something of my ideas. Professionally – I feel ‘closer’ to the business world, more involved and informed. My favorite part of the class was thinking about an idea and seeing how to make it a reality.”
Zjuan, South Africa
“Personally – I met great new people and got to work on team work and relationships. Professionally – I have more confidence to deal with businesses and business people, for example the experience of conducting the mentor interview. My favorite part of the calss was hearing about the other girls’ business ideas and how they plan to make it happen.”
Evette, South Africa
“This class helped me a lot with my confidence and the way I think and talk about myself. My favorite part of the class was how we worked in partners. That was really nice.”
Sarila, Brazil
“For me this class has been amazing. Every class, every minute is valuable. I learned from everyone. I would like to continue studying here and learn more from Professor Frey, who helped me a lot.”
Diana, Columbia
“The class made me feel more confidence and believe more in myself. It gave me energy to follow my dreams. My favorite part of the class was writing the case. It was awesome to think back about my life and to be so proud of my path.”
Mariana, Brazil
“I have gained a lot of self confidence. And I realized that I’ve been very ‘short-sighted’ about my ability to be creative and come up with ideas. This has really opened my mind to new possibilities. My favorite part of the class was EVERYTHING!! I was really nervous before each class, but left everything very optimistic and excited. Professor Frey is awesome!!!
Mari, South Africa
“Personally, it made me feel more confident. It made me believe in my abilities. Professionally it made me be sure that I want to have my own business one day And I decided that I want to apply to GW business school, because I like the creativity. I think it is going to be more beneficial and interesting for me than to study in Israel. My favorite part of the class was the assignments that made us think about things I didn’t think about about before. Or DO things that made me believe in myself, and know that I can do it.”
Keren, Israel
